Luxembourg, 20 January 2022 – Fund and trading platform Moventum S.C.A. is bolstering its European and global ambitions. “After comprehensively expanding our services in recent years, we will now leverage them even more internationally,” Sabine Said, Executive Vice President of Moventum S.C.A., emphasised the move.

Sales in particular will be repositioned. Effective January 1, 2022, Andreas Pál has assumed responsibility for global sales. Pál has been with Moventum since 2006, most recently as CEO of sister company Moventum a.s. in the Czech Republic and as Head of Sales in Austria and the neighbouring Eastern European countries. “We will actively reorganise sales,” said Pál. “It's a challenge that I am very much looking forward to.”

As part of the repositioning, the sales team will also be reinforced. “We are in the process of boosting capacities in Germany and Austria and for the international market,” Pál explained. This has become necessary because business is becoming increasingly international. Moventum is in the optimal position to serve clients in virtually all countries worldwide from Luxembourg, a highly regulated financial centre in the EU.

“In that sense, we are winners of globalisation,” Said pointed out. “Even though economic activity has been slowed by corona, the interconnections of companies around the world have strongly increased.” Ever more employees are relocating abroad temporarily or moving between international sites. “We are noticing the same phenomenon with many of the self-employed who are choosing their place of work anywhere in the world,” Said mentioned.

“Reinforcing the sales department is a logical step,” according to Said. “And I am very pleased to see Andreas Pál, an experienced hands-on colleague, in charge, who is now designing the expansion with his international experience and deep company expertise.” The partnership with ProService Finteco Capital Group allows Moventum to also draw on additional resources.
