Luxembourg, 15 July 2021 – Starting today (15 July 2021), investors are able to invest as little as 5,000 euros in the MoventumPlus Aktiv and MOVEactive asset management accounts, or alternatively in the MOVEeasy inspired by Vanguard funds account model. “Lowering the investment minimum allows additional investor groups access to high-quality investment products and offers a true alternative to investments that are hit by low and negative interest rates”, said Swen Köster, Senior Vice President at Moventum S.C.A.

Effective immediately, private investors may take advantage of investing in the models starting from as little as 5,000 euros. This applies both to new customers, who are able to invest in the diverse portfolios with an initial investment starting at 5,000 euros, and to existing customers, who are offered the option of a follow-up investment starting at 5,000 euros in the selected portfolio.

It is generally becoming increasingly difficult to invest smaller assets in a way that generates returns. “It is not only the low interest rates that are a problem, but rising inflation is further reducing the low yield”, Köster pointed out. “Many fund-based asset management firms are only starting at larger amounts.” It is for this reason that Moventum is now lowering the entry barriers. Advisors now have the opportunity to offer their clients such investments even for smaller sums.

“Successful solutions can now be used with additional clients”, said Köster. “Due to mushrooming digital offerings, it is of course also becoming more important to be able to fall back on products with successful track records.” And to rely on those where actual contact persons are available in the background to explain investment strategies and outlooks.
