Luxembourg, 09.01.2019 – Michael Jensen, previously Executive Vice President of the fund platform Moventum S.C.A. from Luxembourg, takes over the position of Managing Director of the newly founded Moventum Asset Management S.A..

Jensen, who joined Moventum in 2002 as Head of Asset Management and has been responsible for MoventumPlus Active portfolio strategies since then as Lead Portfolio Manager, built up Moventum’s fund asset management business and successfully developed it further for more than a decade. Since 2013, Jensen has also served as Executive Vice President of the Luxembourg fund platform.

"With the new unit, we are expanding our ability to act and positioning ourselves for further growth," says Jensen. Moventum Asset Management S.A. will initially take over the management of the Moventum funds of funds, which were previously managed by IPConcept, a subsidiary of DZ Privatbank S.A. and DZ Privatbank (Schweiz) AG. The individual mandates in the client portfolios of the asset management portfolios were also taken over and managed since 01.01.2019 by means of license expansion. "The organisational separation is an important step towards further growth, particularly as a result of the growth in recent years, in which the strategy portfolios in particular have grown strongly in volume," says Jensen. In the future, Moventum Asset Management S.A. will now also be able to manage funds from external providers and offer white label solutions.
